Earlier this year, deafConnectEd supported Melbourne Polytechnic with promotion and enrolment for another Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) specifically for Auslan users, with the aim of growing our Auslan teaching workforce. The course started in July with 13 learners who are now more than halfway through their studies. The course is delivered entirely online by a team of hearing and Deaf instructors.
