Melbourne Polytechnic in partnership with Vicdeaf is offering the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2016 via a blended delivery model for deaf learners.
This qualification is designed to provide workplace facilitators and personnel within the vocational education and training sector with a range of training skills including:
- developing learning programs
- preparing and delivering training sessions
- supporting students to maximise learning
- evaluating and assessing students to ensure learning outcomes have been achieve
A course induction and information session will be held on Thursday 19 May from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
The course will then be delivered on the following Saturdays from 9:30am to 4:00pm:

We encourage students to attend all classes as this way students get the most from their learning, especially as different units are delivered on different days. Follow up activities to class work will also be offered through the online learning system.
We understand, however, that there may be times, due to illness or previous commitments, when a student will miss a class or two. If you cannot attend all the dates advertised, students will be responsible for catching up on what they have missed, complete any follow up work and organise to complete assessment activities at an alternate time (to be negotiated with your teacher).
The fee is expected to be between $200 – $250. The final fee will depend on the number of participants.
